STRAVAGANZE

A Stravaganze Pizzaria inaugurou em 2005. Por estar em um imóvel protegido, muitos elementos da construção original tiveram que ser preservados no projeto. Para transformar a ambiência do lugar sem fazer mudanças estruturais ao imóvel exploramos diferentes revestimentos, elementos decorativos, mobiliário e iluminação.

Localizada em uma movimentada rua em Ipanema, a pizzaria recebeu uma grande “trepadeira” de metal na parede lateral da entrada, atraindo a atenção dos pedestres. Misturadas à luzinhas brancas e amarelas, as “folhas” eram maleáveis e foram manualmente amassadas no local até atingirem o efeito desejado.

Stravaganze Pizzaria opened in 2005. As it was located on a listed house many elements of the original construction had to be preserved. We have used decoration, furniture and lighting effects to transform the place’s atmosphere without making structural changes.

A large metal "creeper plant" sculpture was attached to the entrance’s interior wall, attracting passersby’s attention. Under delicate lighting, the malleable "leaves" were manually kneaded until they have reached the desired effect .
